What started in 2023 as helping a friend on weekends at gun shows has grown into a company and brand based in the heart of the Ozarks. Many of you know our founder, John, from in-person interactions at gun shows across the Midwest. For years, his approach was simple: “I don’t have a brand: I have a name and a phone number that comes with every item I sell.” That is no longer strictly true. In 2026, John hired Mikey full time and launched Piney River Tactical as the brand you see today. The foundation has not changed: we are still committed to honest information, real product knowledge, and selling products we believe in because we use them.
